Traffic Jam Assist - 2023 Honda Accord

I was able to put to the test Honda/Acura’s Traffic Jam Assist while traveling southbound on I-85 through Spartanburg/Greenville, SC (🤢). It’s a pretty cool driver-assist feature to have in that 45-minute traffic jam.

A lot better than my manual accord, that you had to keep shifting, on top of everything else in traffic! That is a nice QoL improvement for sure.

Good representation of what exactly it does, now I understand. I would loveee to have this, my foot get's so tired sometimes from swapping between braking and accelerating in this kind of traffic on the highway, would be so nice to give the foot a break.

ha I was considering an accord but went with a civic. I do love small cars XD the only features I really wanted were the blind spot monitor and the lane assist. Having said that, the next time I upgrade my car, it'll be an accord. : - )

Does it only work on certain roads, or only major highways? And the fact that it kept loosing the lanes didn't impress me. I have a 2017 CR-V with ACC, LKAS, and low-speed follow which is nice but I was looking at getting a newer model with TJA but not sure it's mature yet. What do you think overall?

LKAS and ACC have been on the Civic Touring since 2016. I can't turn manual driving right off so it doesn't suspend at all on my '18 and it will continue self driving until I turn it off.

I would get a new Accord if they still offered the 2.0T powertrain. The Hybrid is nice but I really want more power. I will be keeping my 10th generation Accord Touring 2.0T, while hoping Honda decides to give us a higher performing variant of the Accord again.

2023 accord has usb c but my 2024 si has 2 usb😡

My traffic jam assist is my 2.0t on stage 3. I just go around. Drove this new hybrid, utter garbage cash grab from honda.
