I love the fact it’s says without surgery!

I am three weeks in with a trimalleolar fracture as well as a fracture of the distal cuboid and medial cuneiform. They had me scheduled for surgery almost immediately but then decided against it for now. The most recent x-rays have shown that the fractures haven't moved and my only treatment so far is a tall boot. Fingers crossed everything continues to look good and there will be no surgery. I hope this inspires people with similar injuries to question surgery if the fractures aren't displaced, of coursee ultimately a doctor would need to make the final determination. It's still worth asking about.

My work comp ortho doctor never suggested any alternatives to my ankle fracture except surgery. I had to get my own opinion to follow truth. I am hoping it's not too late for me for non-surgerical healing which may not heal either without additional help. I had an incompetent doctor misdiagnosed me for almost 3 months then a surgery hungry doctor only want to do surgery. I am so not confident of the medical system anymore. Covid has stressed out and made the system worse than it was
