I love that Piccolo is one of the family. Some of that is the influence of Kami, who had a hell of a lot of respect for Goku, but so much of that came down to Piccolo himself and Gohan. It's great to see fleshed out.

I mean dragonball is the kind of series who has moments like this rare but are special always. You will never get in any other anime a character development over centuries like dragonball.
