SAVE THIS‼️ Singapore’s most popular Bak Kut Teh restaurant has opened a brand new modern Teochew dining concept in Orchard! 🍲

Ask any Singaporean about 𝘣𝘢𝘬 𝘬𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘦𝘩 restaurants here, and most of them would definitely mention @songfabkt. Started out as a pushcart hawker back in 1969, Song Fa has come a long way with 30 outlets spread across the world and awarded the Michelin Bib Gourmand for eight years. 😋

Our favourite dishes have to be the Nourishing Pig’s Stomach with Chicken Soup which doesn’t have any of the funky smell you usually get from cooking pork, and at the same time, still retains a rich, heartwarming flavour. The Pig Trotter Fried Rice is also full of umami and 𝘸𝘰𝘬-𝘩𝘦𝘪, but might come across as pretty ordinary in local context. 🔥

Although the space follows a casual dining concept, the prices are affordable with most of the dishes being less than $15. Definitely a great place to consider for multi-generational family meals, although the queue can be quite a turn-off during peak hours. 🤔
