5 Braid Patterns to use in Macrame

Here are 5 great braid patterns to use in your macrame wall hangings, plant hangers, and more! These braids will also work great for different paracord projects, other fiber art, and some might even work for hairstyles! Let me know in the comments which braid knot is your favorite.

- 5mm Braided Cotton Cord

Measurements:
1) Single Strand Braid: I recommend at least 12in of rope
2) Snake Knot: At least 6 x the finished length
3) Four Strand Braid: Each cord should be at least 4 x the finished length
4) Endless Falls: Working cord (gray) should be at least 9 x the finished length. Filler cord (blue) should be at least 6 x the finished length
5) Six Strand Braid: Each cord should be at least 4 x the finished length

Knowledgeable Knot Kgnostic... As I have one hand with a single pinch point due to an unfortunate degloving event during an auto-pedestrian I was on losing end of and then the other hand, I have no feeling in the tips plus an inch up on my thumb, index and middle fingers due to pinched nerves in my neck from my unfortunate choice in a girlfriend, I was able to fortunately master the Falling In braid for some craft work I needed done.

It's taken about 2½ hours to figure out the proper technique that I can do with these limitations but your patient words helped me be patient with myself.
