I hate to say this, but as a person in cosmetology schooling, that is not a french braid, Its a fishtail. You can tell because it only uses two strands! I feel bad correcting it but I just couldn't help but say something. it does however look very pretty!

When I used to have long hair that I did French braided my hair. I learned it when I was in Girls Scouts in 1983. Even back then that I had short hair but, I did it on a person with long hair. I think that I have a good memory of steps in doing it. My hair was long when I did it in my late 20’s.
