sometimes its hard to decide how to charge jobs, you want to do whats going to make you the most money and keep the customer happy. for me, most of the time that means charging by the job and not by the hour.

I just got done removing 29 trees out of a customer's 14 acre Prairie. I charged per tree and made 35k on the job
Yes its alot but he gave me a price to stay under and he didnt want to exceed 40k i spent 3 weeks on the job. I also didnt have to haul any debree away. Dragged the trees to a area made a pile and he's letting them die off and plans on burning them. I usually do lawncare but i wasnt going to pass the opportunity up.

Mean bro like your videos I'm just starting a tree business and been finding it hard to price trees this helps a lot .only coz I worked as a tree feller most my life for my family and was only use to not getting much money $18.50 an hour and now that I have gone off on my own I'm really starting to see how much the work we do is worth ...keep posting bro mean .

lol as a homeowner who don't know much about tree removal process and cost I think it would be better to do by the hr because you might not have all the money. The only issue I see with that is like you said if the contractor is looking for 1500 for the job they are going to take their time and make the job last as long as possible so that they can get paid the maximum amount. But it would be nice to only have had like 600 dollars and have them work as fast as possible until that 600 is used up and then send them away to come back another day when you have some more money saved up. or perhaps by that time the job is small enough to finish up yourself.

I do it on the side and I do it by the tree.

80 foot dead oak with limbs galore. Yah I’m gonna need at least 15.

Tiny 100 ft pine in your back yard and I can fell it... easy 200.

I give people really good deals and I make so much freakin cash on the side.

It’s my third day on the job and I made the worst bid ever today. $1700 including stump removal for the biggest, tallest, fattest, pine tree you’ve ever seen in your life. It’s like a 90 foot tree and a sweet old lady played me like a fiddle.

Also people bring up the price if there’s any power lines, fences, buildings or anything that can be damaged you gotta fix something goes wrong so jack up that price
