I don't like how shaky she looks with the gun. Not saying it needs to be a photocopy, but the Major is a cyborg, and her movements in the original/series is very streamlined and calculated with minimal expression and emotion. I mean, she ripped her own body apart trying to open a hatch without a second thought.

Why does Motoko need an Asian body? She's a cyborg, the only human part of her is her brain, she can have whatever body she wants and look however she wants. You might say it's because she has an Asian name therefore she must be Asian... That's an alias, they say that in the first chapter of the manga. She doesn't remember her real name or anything from her real body, for all she knows, she was probably a man before she became a cyborg. In the manga, she switches bodies every now and then when one gets destroyed, if she decided she wanted one that looked like Scarlet Johansen, she could do that.
