As a liverpool fan I 100% agree with you with Quansah but he is a heavy rotation risk I genuinely think they are all as good as each other on their best day. Last season I thought Konate was our best CB and then VVD came shining through and everyone was talking when Konate was in the shadows. Then vvd got the red card and matip acl injury and quansah stepped up as calm as vvd himself. I think our defence will be way better than last espescially if we sign Zubimendi. Personally think 3 at the back with them 3 and jo gomez to play lcb when needed would be the best but it will always be them 2 rotating around vvd so i would stay clear of both. Quansah is the best 4.5 in the game if one of them gets injured though.

Have suddenly found myself going off Nkunku. I had him benched gameweek 1 and could easily have benched him gameweek 2 with ESR and Bobb’s fixtures. Just too much money for someone to bench the first two weeks, with positional uncertainty when he starts and Chelsea STILL being linked to more attackers.

Have dropped down to Minteh and now have 1.5m in the bank to upgrade Solanke to Watkins in gameweek 3.

I must be one of the few going double Arsenal defence. Gabriel and Saliba. Set and forget and they both have scoring potential.

solid team, as a spurs fan I really like Bergvall and think he could start and if your going 3-4-3, he could be a high upside 4.5 mid

Ive had Salah from the start but am shifting to Jota. Allows Son in at the start. Im going Winks over Nkunku to allow Hall to Porro and Henderson to Pope/Pickford. Hope to have 3 FT for GW 3 to jump on CHE & AVL. No ARS is going to be my big flaw.

Very harsh saying cooper is a worse manager than maresca.. he got a non parachute club promoted which is hard enough. Kept them in the prem.
Maresca got a Leicester side up that were huge favourites, and he failed at seria B side parma

Yes, I love the Jota move. Big mistake if you get rid of ESR

My first XI is very similar to yours but I like having Salah over Trent. I differ in 4 positions:

Henderson => Raya (A lot of people seem to be playing for saves rather than clean sheets but Raya would have been number 1 for FPL keeper last season if he played the 6 games he missed. Arsenal's defence with Timber and Califori now is just so much stronger, I can see him picking up the golden gloves again and the most FPL points this season for GK. The only reason to avoid is Arsenal have a few tricky fixtures at the start - 3 of last seasons top 5 and all away!).

Trent => Martinez (will probably play LB so more chance of assist. Konsa is an alternative)

Son => Salah (This is where Trent money has gone, I think Salah is more reliable fpl pointer scorer than Son)

Bobb => Minteh (best 5.5m option and likely starter at Brighton)

I lose out on a weaker midfielder on the bench but have better defence options as I have a 4.5m option (Robinson) rather than Harwood Bellis.

Great video - I think I enjoy the pre-season more than the actual season! Haaland price has made it really interesting this year. I think there is so much value in cheap mids, and am struggling to pick my finals. You've sold me on Bobb I think. I am perplexed that Mainoo is in about 8% of teams but none of the experts seem to be talking about him. Is there something we are missing? Throw in Rogers, CHO, Amad, Murphy, Longstaff, Andreas, ESR (now at 10%!). Too many choices - but this is why we love it.

Got Saliba for Trent, and Havertz for Solanke, Robinson for Harwood-Bellis and Smith Rowe for Nkunku - apart from that - the same. Chelsea are going to be up and down at the start of the season - like last year - they've downgraded their mgr too

Wow our teams are very similar. The only things that are different is I’ve got Rogers instead of Nkunku and I’ve got Gvardiol instead of Quansah 💪
