Welcome to part 2 of my most ambitious ever Fantasy Premier League video for the 24/25 season! This time I combined 100 FPL Experts drafts to create the PERFECT Gameweek 1 team...

I asked 100 FPL experts, podcasters, bloggers, writers and YouTubers to send me their gameweek 1 squad drafts. I recorded all of the data from all 100 teams, so I could work out a bunch of information that I could share with you. We have found out who the most popular players are, which formation is the most popular, who is most popular captain, and much more. This information has now been used to create THE perfect GW1 squad template.

not having Arsenal players is the main problem and that team will suffer for sure without them because arsenal are really in great form...having only salah and halaand wont gift all the needed points
have to question on the form of Muniz Eze Nkunku and Smith Rowe....all of those players need to settle first and need time to gain reliable points

Assuming you play 3 at the back you don't come up against the top 8 (traditional big 6 plus newcastle and aston villa) until gw15

I like my team better honestly. More reliable defense and better midfield. Having Halaand would be nice but with the price distributions he feels like he does more damage to your team than helps it. Surely having a starting 9-10 and rotating with better bench options on the last spot or two gets you more points than all the sacrifices you have to make to get him in. Salah seems the better option, 2.5m less and will most likely get roughly the same points. The only reason to select Halaand imo is having a set and forget captain but I think selecting the actual best option every week from a better selection of players wins that race anyways. Just my opinion don’t hurt me lol

Haaland is not worth 15m have to say it, that 2.5m less for salah and distributed evenly leads to a better team

That 'was' roughly my team, couple of differences, Minteh instead of ESR, No Mylenko, Wood instead of Muniz.But then Solanke went to Spurs, I wanted him replaced Wood, and took out Gvardiol to fund

No Arsenal, but a tripple-up on Fulham, who would have thought ;) Great video Dan, both of them actually. Yesterday's too! The only thing missing for me was how much money experts are investing in defense. Are they going with one, two or maybe three premium defenders. I am tempted to invest as little as possible with low number of CS last season and changes in the BPS system and wonder what the experts thing. The team looks really nice. Currently I have 10 players from the team. If there will be news of Robo starting I might downgrade TAA to him and invest in Raya instead of Henderson. Doubt that we will get any leaks though.

I’m not sure about Smith Rowe as someone who I would want to start every week. Aside from that it’s a great team.

My team is the exact same except I have Porro for TAA, and Solanke for Muniz.. costs the same either way

Got a fairly similar set up but no Haaland, it would be great for week 2 but for game week 1 I'd rather have more balanced options i guess.

Brilliant video, thank you Ninja Dan, so much work has gone into this and it's got me going back to the drawing board for the twelvtieth time 😂👏⚽️❤️ I'm going to try to aim for this sort of balance in my team which is currently 6 superstars and not much else. Even though I suppose I shouldn't change this expert draft at all because it's pretty much perfect.
