Using a Configurable Joint to Create Movement without Code in Unity

Easily add movement to your scenes by adding a configurable joint to an object in Unity. I am using Synty Polygon-Kids assets which are already premade with some separate meshes.

Boneworks' main programmer said pretty much everything they do in the game uses configurable joints, FYI. I'm doing some light VR dev now, and really blown away by the interactions in Wanderer (although that was made in Unreal 4). So I'm just now wanting to get familiar with Configurable Joints to play around. This is a great primer video. Thanks.

Cool. Isn't it overkill to use joints for this though? It's code-less, but it does have to do quite some calculations. Regardless, useful video that explains the configurable joint quite well!
