I wanted to make a video that covered everything you would need if you wanted to learn the violin online! And while I don't necessarily recommend learning online, I do understand there are sometimes circumstances where it's the only option. So, I made a complete step-by-step guide of how to learn violin online starting from literally zero. Like from where to get a violin!

Corrie, very informative. I reviewed several other online teachers and you seem to be the best by far. You explain and demonstrate very well with simple east to understand steps. I am 68 years old and just bought a Relelle 25 4/4. Played guitar since 14. Now I will endeavor to learn and play the violin which arrives next Monday.

So far, no luck finding an in person teacher so I am glad to have found you. Besides, I was born and raised in San Diego.

Music is vital and a beautiful way to worship God, either in private or with a group during a worship service.

Your point of 100 hours practice is very encouraging considering the violin is much more difficult to learn than the guitar.

With commitment, discipline and consistency, even at 68, I hope to be fairly good in a year.

I just ordered the finger board decal and the frog fish. You were the first to recommend these accessories.

My endeavor to learn the violin has inspired my wife to learn the guitar. So I guess I will teach one as I learn the other.

Where you buy is just as important as what you buy. Make sure it has a proper set up. I bought a used violin, I got to try it first. It’s a Carlo Bunnel, and I like it. The only thing I dont like is that the shoulder rest doesn’t fit in my case.
