I love this! I've been a therapist for 13 years and have never seen anyone paint the muscles and put them through the action like you do. I refer to your videos daily for inspiration on a different approach to healing. Keep it up! The therapist world needs this!!

Firstly, your painting is amazing! Secondly, I love that your knowledge is pretty advanced. I've been a physio for almost a decade and never known a massage therapist with this much knowledge! Great video. Very inspiring x

You have reinvigorated my passion for bodywork! I love what I do, but (especially through covid and at a medically exempt practice) I’ve needed inspiration and I have received that through your sharing of your deep understanding of anatomy, physio, pain patterns, especially in relation to massage care. Thank you for doing what you do 🙏🏼

Thanks. If insurance paid for massage I don't think I would have needed surgery. PT made it worse. Needed some release!!

This is beautifully done and such an awesome way to really illustrate these muscles and their placement. Even the surgeon that just did thoracic outlet surgery on me wouldn't/couldn't explain to me how these would be a huge source of extreme pain, still a month out, without any let up, only getting worse if anything. I'm not even able to tilt or turn my head or let my shoulder drop to a normal level, because they're so tight it just won't move. And when just doing nothing it feels like it's ripping off my chest, throat and shoulder, and worse when I push to stretch it, but I keep doing it, of course carefully, and I do my best to massage it myself because by the evening it is spamsing constantly and so badly that its all bulged out and hard as a rock making it impossible to sleep. I can't afford to purchase a massage, so, being desperate for help and information, I'm just trying to learn ways to help myself to get through this and the other complications of a paralyzed right side diaphragm and having it move up, crushing my lung in half so cannot get a deep breathe at all, and just have to wait 6 to 12 months to see if it's going to wake up or be permanent...also my right arm having to relearn how to move, due to surgery, not my TOS.
So I truly appreciate this :)
Thank you!

wow this is amazing! I just leaning massage and was working on my friend last night who had lots of pain in their neck and between shoulder blades from coughing. Makes a lot of sense that now that I know that these muscles help function with breathing. Thanks for posting this!

Great video but the transverse processes are in line with the tragus of the ear so are quite a bit more anterior on the neck making the scalenes more anterior too. But awesome idea and great job

Wow! I have been having troubles with the TOS without understanding what it really meant. I did not understand how it worked! Now i get it!! Really great idea to paint the muscles!!

As always excellent video and  makes appreciation for the underlying anatomy so much easier to recall (plus without the lingering smell of formaldehyde from the medical school dissecting room)
