I love Rottweilers. They’re my favorite and one who sadly passed away a few years back but now I have another one and he’s awesome.

I have coyotes in my area, too. We hear then howling every evening. My dad walked our 2 year old golden retriever puppy who got spooked by another bigger dog. He got off the leash and ran into the woods. They were 2 miles out but he managed to find his way home within an hour. My mom opened our front door and he was just sitting there on our doorstep, waiting to be let in. Thank god no coyotes got to him, and thank god for golden retriever tracking abilities.

If they were going to leave the dogs outside alone when they knew there were coyotes they shouldn’t have gotten a dog in the first place.
