This is unacceptable these schools have crossed the line on several children should they get millions of dollars? No they should get something the child was scared to death.

The school is full of it. They refuse to share details other than those that would make the kid look bad. Douche bags!

Schools will eventually realize parents have far more power than they do!

It's Oct, 25th 2024 and my son still isn't in school bc his zoned school/ home school contacted his old school at the beginning of the year and found out he needs life skills. They just found a school for him to go to. I have to go in today and do a transfer for my other son so they can both go to the same school. They are both in 3rd grade.

can't his insurance company cover that. Isn't that a necessary thing healthwise. It's really hard if it'd district can't afford all these necessary things because of a child health issue. I'm not saying they don't deserve it. But shouldn't there be some type of insurance to cover this from the parent. now I will say if the school district can't afford a person they can't afford the insurance. But aren't there any grants or federal subsidizing or something.

Last time I checked, school is for learning.
School is not for managing children's mental issues and meltdowns.
While I have sympathy for children who have these issues,
I'm not quite sure how schools all of the sudden became the parent, healthcare provider, and teacher.
Homeschooling is the best option.
Why parents believe that it's a stranger's job to care for your child is something I don't understand.
I don't trust strangers to care for my dogs, forget my children.

Dad should sue. Yards duties are not specialist or have gone to college to know how to handle kids with special needs and car. OR for any child in school. Yards duties are parents who volunteer or hired sometimes. Yard duties don't qualify just because they have a kid or 2, 3, 5. THEY ARE NOT PROFESSIONALS
