Had the South won they could not have kept their slavery institution any longer : as you say they would have needed France and/or England's support and the condition for that support would have been outright abolition of chattel slavery. The South's agriculture was at a point when slavery was no longer productive in any way.

What if the North had simply stopped dealing in slaves and bought the ones in the South at market price. They could have then shipped the slaves back to Africa, where they could all have been Kings and Queens, at great savings in money, resources and life.

Texas would have become its own Country again. The United States would have expanded into Canada annexing New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and the other maritime provinces, Ontaria would have petitioned to become part of the United States, Quebec would be it's own republic. Alaska would be the same and be part of the United States.... The south would shrink to maybe 5 confederate states....the others may have combined to be separate countries....

Lincoln tried one of the repeating rifeles with the inventors in the garden of the White House. What the Army of USA would have used the reapeating rifles 1 years earlier?

What if the Confederacy won at Gettysburg and Vicksburg? The outcome would have been the same. It would have taken longer and cost more.

Slavery would have still been abolished, although it would have been delayed 10 to 20 years.

The best chance of Confederate victory was after Second Manassas. The Union Army had been routed. A push toward Washington DC should have been made. Some of the Union leadership could have been captured and a peace could have been negotiated. A rush toward the Pacific would have been made with the Union the likely victor given their superior railroad technology. Texas might have succeeded from the Confederacy. Midwestern states could have succeeded from the Union. North America would likely been balkanized as South America was. World War I would likely resulted in a German victory. France would have been subjected. A cold war would likely developed between Germany and the British Empire. Japan would have dominated the Far East. Slavery would have lasted into the 20th century. For how long is a good guess. Nuclear weapons would have been developed by the 1960s or 1970s likely by Germany as they had the best technology to do so. The Nazis would have remained a fringe party of nut cases and never rose to national prominence as they needed a "stabbed in the back" theory to do so. India likely would have remained in the British Empire but would have likely attained commonwealth status like Canada or Australia. The Civil Rights movement would have developed in North America but would have developed at a glacial pace. Britain could have developed Canada into a prosperous part of North America and some of the New England states might have joined Canada. Canada might have turned into the center of the British Empire. This ends my speculation.

There are many "what ifs" had the Confederate States of America (aka the South) had defeated the North. For example, would Mexico become a French proxy under Maximilian? Would there be a Spanish American war over Cuba?
Would Japan have hegemony over the western Pacific starting in the 1890s which would have taken the Philippines from Spain? If so, this may have resulted in a "Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere" in the early 1900s.
