You have some really nice choices! Fall colors are my favorite - so much so that I use them all year. I have Diamine Tobacco Sunset, Bilberry, Red Robin, Ancient Copper, Aurora Borealis, and Oxblood in pens now. Also, Teranishi Classy Burgandy and Troublemaker Hanging Rice, Platinum Carbon Black. You have much more restraint than I do!

2- Never tried making my own ink.
3- Pilot Iroshizuku Yu Yake in a Jinhao 9019 Demonstrator. Looks great on that huge cartridge converter.

I love the pen database idea, should be possible to do an online version with user submitted data too.

Currently inked and in daily use at my place are: Sailor 1911 Realo with Herbins Lie De Thé, Jinhao X750 with Diamines Writers Blood and a Jinhao X159 with Rorher und Klingners Sepia.

Do you use a punch with your loose paper? I just got one at Hobby Lobby last night and began making a notebook of assorted papers, because I want to use all of the different papers I have. Makes it simple to go to and not have loads of notebooks/paper to move around all of the time! Love fountain pens and the way the ink looks on various paper.
