In this video you will see that Audi RS3's love to understeer on the Nurburgring Nordschleife. When you enter Adenauer Forst (and are a newby to the Nurburgring) it looks as if the track goes straight, but it doesn't. This means people turn the wheel at the last moment, and the RS3's being fitted with Audi's Quattro system, tend to understeer straight into and onto the grass. This gave the crowds an entertaining day during carfreitag 2017!
so you don't miss any of the epic content!

The problem is people think Quattro means you can enters corners at any speed. If I’m the correct hands it is fine.

*FaceLift RS3* pretty much cured this issue with a lighter front end and more power being sent to the rear 🏆

Rs3 is king in launching not at tracking

You can call this RS3s love off roading.

i love how the rs3 understeers heavily but the swift sport has no issues.

Going too fast in the hard left at Adenauer Forst is called understeer? A lot of bikes understeer here then :)

I think it's probably a problem of overspeed entry at the corners in this car.
So yes, probably the car has an understeer problem...

many drivers of an audi quattro don't know that the quattro system is made to make the tyres get its grip by hitting the throttle, quattro is designed to give each wheel the right amount of torque to get the perfect grip. so if you take your feet from the gas paddle the weight of the car takes the grip from the tires when cornering. the way to take the corner is braking to minimal enter speed before you take the corner and hitting the throttle when pulling out of the corner

even if stock, you can drastically reduce understeer by just adjusting the front/rear ratio of tire pressure, camber etc. fitting wider tires (with same diameter) in the front and adjusting the suspension if possible will do the trick. in this way, even my S1 is fairly neutral. if you attack a turn too fast then understeer is absolutely normal. the rs3 is known to have lift in the front, but what hatchback doesn't?

This hurts a little bit I can't get over the RS3 saloon. My favorite car

I think they overrated their cars, its a AWD, but still in some corners you gotta slow down.

For new Audi drivers.

1. Early breaks
2. Early exit

I know Audi isn't known for its superior steering in recent years, but I think this video demonstrates driver error rather than audisteer...

0:09 Love how the BMW behind it tracks perfectly. Fairly representative!

For those who says "it's drivers fault, not car's". I invite them to watch the video made by chris harris with the RS3 VS M135i.
