I’ve been waiting for them to go OLED screen! This might be the one for me. I do eBay and use the tablet camera just to make it easy for listing. The OLED is the biggest game changer. I am excited.

I traded my iPad 12.9” in for the new iPad 11” but after a few days I missed the larger screen so took the 11” back and got the iPad 13” model. Glad I did swap back lol.

I’ve seen some illustrator reviews of the iPad with the nano texture screen. It’s definitely nice but you can literally buy a 20 dollar matte screen protector and save your money. It won’t be 100% exact but for paying 2000 plus I don’t think most people would mind.

Totally agree with you, I sold my 12.9 in and got the mini and I’m so delighted it’s easy to carry around and hold it with one hand . I really hope that they give us a new one soon, it would be nice to have 120 rf . You got the right size best of luck with it 😎

Enjoyed your review TechOdyssey and many of the comments. You deftly discuss reasons why you prefer the 11 and touch on many strengths and weaknesses of the M4. Including Apple tax and comparison to Samsung.
I’m currently rockin’ the 13. Having owned a 12.9 and more than one 11. I can see benefits of both. Let’s hope in the upcoming months Apple adds enhancements to iPads software functionality and user friendliness? Looking forward to your next video.

Sounds like the new iPad Pro is great if you are a professional artist or video editor, or similar business use. But it is too expensive for the general consumer, unless they are dedicated to being in the Apple ecosystem.

What do you think about the speakers? I have the 11 m4 too I’m not a fan of the speakers but it could be a software issue cuz I found Reddit post on it

I agree I’m mad I have to buy a new Apple Pencil but it doesn’t cost that much compared to having to replace the Magic Keyboard again. I think this time I will go third party keyboard when they come out.

I'm torn between getting the 11 vs the 13.
I have the 12.9 M1 and HATE it because it is so heavy. Not portable at all IMHO.
I have the M2 11.1 and is ok. The weight is right, but the aspect ratio 4:3 is annoying for video.
The new 11 looks like the aspect ratio is more 16:9-ish than 4:3. Is that true?
I'm interested in using the ipad for note taking, sketching, painting, email, watching video, audiobooks, kindle app, photo and video editing, and music listening. I'm waffling between the new 13 and 11. Still cannot decide.

IDK, it seems like typical nonsensical Android logic to always accuse Apple of planned obsolescence.
Apple made the iPad impossibly thin, designed it around a NEW M4 chip, moved the camera, integrated a groundbreaking display while maintaining the same incredible battery life. You believe this was a strategy to upsell more pencils and keyboards? An alternate theory could be Apple didn’t care if the best layout severed current attachments. It sounds harsh, but the “build the best product” principle was Steve Jobs. He didn’t care about cost. Apple is more affordable today than in Job’s era but Apple will not compromise a design to be more affordable.
