I mean, from a subjective standpoint this is fine, but from a competitive standpoint this is the worst ranking I’ve seen

The thing is watch Leo play meta knight and you will understand how lethal he truly is. Also, Nintendo literally said that they chose Kirby to be the first character in World if Light is because he was the easiest character

I just play Kirby because I like his franchise but I’m terrible at king dedede and meta knight

See, Kirby is decent at this point because we're much farther removed from the days when he was broken then we are for Meta Knight. (Kirby was the best character in Smash 64 alongside Pikachu and was completely nerfed 6 feet underground in Melee. He's had a long time to slowly crawl back up into not being genuinely unviable.)
This is a trend we see in every Smash game actually. The best character/s of the previous game gets nerfed so hard that they aren't even good in the next.
Kirby from 64 to Melee,
Fox from Melee to Brawl,
Meta Knight from Brawl to Smash 4,
and Beyonetta from Smash 4 to Ultimate.

I think i agree, i main kirby but I've been playing for 313 hours and played every character in classic mode and got over 5.0 i think kirby is a high mid character

Im pretty sure beginners pick kirby most of the time because they're the first character you get in smash mode and the campaign
