I spent the weekend watching a masterclass in lawyering over the Paxton trial. Love him or hate him, after watching the impeachment hearing videos, Paxton got his moneys worth and it was very entertaining to watch.

The most accurate statement in this video is: "but it's still how I feel" referring to his insecurities of being the "cafeteria worker's boy" and growing up poor. All the in-your-face displays of wealth and vanity is to prove that he's no longer that poor boy. "Look at me! Am I worthy of your admiration now? Now I'll become a politician because there's nothing like an election to prove how people approve of me!!" It's amazing how childhood insecurities play such prominent roles in your behavior in adult life. I actually feel sorry for him... his sense of accomplishment, feeling loved and accepted is so expensive, while others can feel the same fulfillment and it doesn't cost a thing.

This guy deserves every cent, I could listen to him in a courtroom, all day long. Pity Trump doesn’t have him on board, he would have soon sorted that old hag out, in New York.
