Today's story is a classic tale of a mistake many new players in Sea of Thieves make.. Carrying gunpowder kegs. As I like to say: "The best place for a keg is on an enemy ship" and I am here to show you, by example, what happens when somebody doesn't follow that advice.

one time i was chasing a sloop coming away from a skele fort, and while my friend was driving i figured i’d make
myself useful so i starting shooting my sniper, and i hit a keg which caused a chain reaction and sinked their ship as fast as physically possible

I was playing on a busy server the other day on a brig with my cousin and a friend of mine. We were doing gh and pvp when just after selling at an outpost the fof crew arrived, they'd launched a white flare, so i said to leave em alone, my cousin said nah and shot a single canon into them, sending the whole ship to the ferrie in the blink of an eye because of their kegs. We didnt realise they were swimming an athena's keg over to our ship, which sunk our ship my cousin died, but, i was swimming over to their ship to finish them off, my friend was on the island because he was buying stuff or something. Their loot landed in the water next to the sovereigns and i was juggling to keep our supplies above the water while my cousin was sailing over. Very easy money and one of the funniest experiences ive had so far.

I only have kegs on my boat when I want people to chase me. You can easily get like 10 kegs from a skeleton fort and then just cruise around until someone chases you. Then head over to shipwreck Bay and see if they're dumb enough to follow you through the rocks. Throw the kegs out back and watch them go boom😂

I spent a whole day collecting kegs had around 80-100 and then found a four man galleon parked, so I parked my sloop next to theirs and found them on the island and said I'm new don't sink my ship, and found a nice spot and watched. You can guess the rest
