Feb ‘18 I underwent a fusion : T8-S1… my neurosurgeon promised me two things…
1. He couldn’t get me back to pre-injury condition, and
2. He definitely couldn’t completely remove all chronic back pain and the need for ongoing Endone ( currently 5mgx4 daily)
He was correct on both counts… saying that, I was heading towards the need for a wheelchair, so at least I avoided that outcome…

It was bad. I never recovered really. I stayed in hospital longer. I was in a wheelchair afterwards for mouths. Im in so much pain. Why am I still suffering still and it's getting worse. I don't see away out. I see ppl around me having this surgery done and coming out on top. My childhood and adult hood was stolen from me. I just want so help
