Idk why it's so hard for Xbox to have a console that can actually run and play the games it's intended to. Like you have one job yet they try all this extra shit that typically ends up making the problem worse. A console at its most basic should be able to run games bottom line.

Guys try this, settings, system, storage devices, clear local xbox 360 storage. This worked for me after literally trying everything else with no success

I reset my console and then tried to open BF1 and got stuck on the ‘connecting’ screen again. I then simply restarted the console and it worked 👍

Hey guys sometimes it has to do with the internal storage when your game data is on the external drive and it’s a new gen game it won’t play move some games to the external that you aren’t playing and move the game you are playing to the internal hopefully this helps some

Hard reset (hold down power button on console until it turns off, then turn back on) fixed it for me

The fact Xbox even has this issue to begin with is dumb. I have never had this issue with my playstation 4 and 5 but my xbox hell I can't even play games anymore. None will load up. I want to play more xbox but every day a new issue comes up where I am like nah Playstation is much better. Like not being able to buy a year xbox gold anymore, my games not loading, and lack of games to play.

I got multiple games that wont start... Dark souls 2, Alien isolation, dead by daylight to name a few. They go to the screen that shows the games wallpaper then it just kicks me to the home screen, i tried resetting my console/clearing cashe, i tried deleting and reinstalling... it just doesnt fricking work...

If your Xbox is too full on internal storage you might experience this issue. Clear up some internal storage and it should be good to go

Mate I ended up crying because I can’t download any games and if I get lucky and the install it stops the installation on 0.0% and I have keep pressing resume every 7 minutes so it makes progress and after it can’t open the game pls help me or just kill me😭😭😭😭😭
