It was an honour to have you play my romhack, and it also was a lot of fun to see what strategies you used compared to what I did in FireRed! Can't wait to see what challenge you'll be attempting next :)

This took "getting there is half the battle" to a whole new level

Smant always does what seems impossible, but this might be his crowning achievment. No other gamer has managed to touch grass so many times.

Seeing him say leaf blade could be a two shot when it’s quad resisted by Crobat is killing me.

His first emerald challenge was to avoid poké centers at all cost, and his latest one is to depend on them as much as possible

It hurts so very much that smant remembers that you can get a wailord at 1% encounter rate on 1 singular route, but can’t remember the npc that gives you giga drain.

The only Pokemon challenge that can make you excited to see +3 HP on level up

24:13 And here we see a wild SmallAnt performing his mating call, so majestic
This is a very rarely-seen moment, we should all consider ourselves incredibly lucky to have witnessed such a magnificent display

The amount times Smant used Leaf Blade on something like Crobat or Altaria expecting good damage was insane

That scream smallant did when he couldn't kill the slaking and got hit to one hp was hilarious.

You know it's going to be a good time when Beautifly is utilized the whole way through. Best part of challenge runs is always going to be weird, niche, usually bad Pokemon getting spotlight even for a moment.

The editing and comedic timing on this video is insane.
„We‘ll be fine as long as we two-shot.“ *does like 10%* „It‘s okay, we‘re fine.“ *gets crit*

Can we just appreciate the thumbnail makers

This is one of the best Emerald challenge runs I've seen. It's on the edge of impossibility right off the bat and requires very unconventional strategies. It's cool seeing a run that actually requires Treecko as the starter, and showcases the utility of several pokemon that are not commonly used like this.

13:20 the fear in his eyes about how much this reversal would do is hilarious

Nebula, from just a teleporter, to a literal MVP. Epic.

As a Treecko enjoyer, I'm glad he's finally the one who shines in a pokemon emerald challenge

There were so many points in that run that were saved by entering a pokecenter being enough to respawn in it, something I had no idea worked like that.

I love how in hindsight, in all his RSE challenges he cycled through all 3 starters. He chose Treecko for this one, Torchic for the "everyone has Wonder Guard" and Mudkip for the "No Pokecenter" and "1v2" challenges. Goes to show how diverse you need to be, and how very completable these seemingly impossible runs are
