Bullshit .The trucks were NOT parked "in the off ramp" They were parked on the shoulder approx 3 feet past the driving lane of said ramp. The bus driver drove off the ramp onto the shoulder and hit the trucks. He was going TOO fast on the ramp. Its 100% the fault of the bus driver.

We need to include some major changes in truck parking facilities in our infrastructure rebuild because these trucks are forced to stop at given moments with the new ELD mandates that are now in effect. On and off ramps are being used but it’s a bad idea. We need proper parking for out of service drivers.

A lot of trucks travel on I-55 and I-70 and when the rest areas fill up, they park on the shoulder of the ramps to and from the rest area. This is especially a problem at Springfield where the rest area is very old and smaller than other rest areas.

I read that bus was 25 miles from destination. The reports are all over the trucks for parking along off ramp. Where is video of bus driver and why was it on the off ramp?

Did the driver fall asleep? I was on greyhound, the driver keep falling asleep almost running into people cars and alsome fell into a ditch.

Bus driver probably was speeding changing lanes like they aways do. Grayhound is renowned for running drivers overnight and the known for driving like they own the road.

I bet the bus driver fell asleep that's why I stop taking greyhound bus went to Florida Orlando and I noticed that he drove half of the way no bus drivers change it's was him until we got to north Carolina from new York it was scary thoi never took greyhound again 😮😮😮😮😮

You Americans have a funny way of saying things. A tractor is something you use on a farm it does not tow a refrigerated trailer. A semi Trailer truck does. This is a truck not an oversized utility vehicle which most of the world call a Utility or Ute for short. Either way what a terrible accident. Sad for families involved.

Looks like the bus driver ran into the trucks, fastigue or driver error. Probably shouldn't have fired so many drivers over the covid crap.
