No matter what these people say, don't stop making videos, they're incredibly informational and entertaining. Love your videos man

As someone listening with headphones: I appreciate that Rewboss matched the side of each interjection with the corresponding political orientation (left/right)

I like free speech, as long as it expresses exactly my opinion... 🤦

There seems a lot of angry people now the questions are whether they have much to be angry about and whether they are angry about those things or find something to be angry about where there is no need to be angry.

Only after if you have been called a Nazi and a "linksgrünversiffter Gutmensch" for the same sentence can you appreciate the finer points of discussion culture.

Let me chime in: Now you both-sides the issue, huh? Enlightened centrist!

My personal highlight from a "social media" discussion: I was called a pedophile because I pointed out that building new nuclear reactors is quite expensive...

This is unfortunately extremely accurate.

My freedom ends when it starts in another's freedom, or something like that. At least it's what some people taught me in Portugal.

People tend to forget, that at the end of the day regardless of ideology, opinion etc. we are all people suffering the same struggle...

We actually don't have free speech in Germany, and that's a good thing.
We have freedom of opinion, which ends when it harms others. It's a sensible measure, not the free-for-everything that nonsense freedom of speech is

What was the name of the report that said every online argument will always end up with mention of that what German under the H person would do in the 1930 & 40s

I see you! Just carry on with your content as getting critiqued by both/all sides is a sign of doing something right. You're one of the least biased content creators I've come across.

If you're getting hatred from left-wingers and right-wingers alike, that means you're on the right path. Keep it up!

I hope that in the future the world will reach this level of sensitivity when the Israeli national anthem is brought up in the context of a conversation...

A broken-hearted Palestinian passed by here.

Both those types of people are just ignorant and stupid. I learned to just don't answer to any of them anymore. It's impossible to have a discussion with people who have both cult like ideologies AND are utterly incapable of comprehending any simple written or spoken text.

There are other provisions for the limitations of freedom of speech in Germany. A perhaps more trivial example would be the laws pertaining to 'insult'. The relevant law is No. 185 StGB.
This could, for example, be used to prosecute an individual if they address a Police Officer as "Du" rather than "Sie". Whilst in most cases this would merely be passed off as simply 'inappropriate' and without consequences - especially from a non-native speaker - it could, if construed as a DELIBERATE attempt to insult, result in a prosecution and fine, in theory.
As any such fine is means tested, it could in theory amount to a very hefty amount!
Indeed, in extremis, this law in fact makes provision for custodial sentences to be applied in cases of 'insult'!

Also, sei ganz vorsichtig, Junge! ☝️

There were one video that traumatized me. It shouldn't because it was very funny amateur trivia game about trains (S01E01 of Hyce's "3/4 idiot show" to be precise). And one of contestants always answered "poorly" to the question "how it went" (he was hoping that in some time in the story it should go good). And now, in any YouTube trope title "how...." I reflectively answer to myself "POORLY"... And it is such case when this answer is spot on.

Germany, the place where people are cheer about freedom of speech while in the same breath silencing anyone who disagrees with them.
