'Grand Theft Auto 6' trailer released, ending yearslong wait

Monday night, 10 years after the release of its predecessor, fans finally got their first glimpse of "Grand Theft Auto 6" as the first trailer premiered for the highly anticipated game. Gene Park, games reporter and critic for The Washington Post, joins CBS News to discuss the game.

This is a far cry from 2004 when GTA was in the news for Hot Coffee and Hillary Clinton rallying against it on the basis of 'cop killing', etc.
(Fastforward to GTA 4 and R* put her as the Statue of Happiness holding a coffee cup instead of a torch)

We've come a LONG way from 2002-2004, where Eminem, Marilyn Manson, and GTA were being blamed for adolescent delinquency and mass shootings.... and now we have Eminem headlining a Fortnite event and GTA being one of the most iconic pieces of media in human history.

They survive because A. Everyone knows its a game and B. Because GTA games are always more than just violence. Usually the main characters lives are destroyed by said violence, or at least others around them. Every GTA has had this "it all comes back to haunt you" message.

I had some experience with Motion Capture and gotta say it has a seriously fluid driving and movement animations and choreography overall. Kudos to the devs. Really can't wait. I just hope the voice acting is as good as it was in the past. The third game had some amazing cast, not to mention the late Ray Liotta who basically stole the show.
Ps. You almost saw me as Leon in these new Resident Evil games :)
