ALL NEW EGO 2 Stage Snow blower SNT2405 56v in 31inches wet heavy snow The Ultimate test !!!

Testing out the new EGO 2 stage Snow blower SNT2405 after 24hours of snow. I had around 11 inches of snow in my driveway and around 31 inches for the snowbank left from the snowplow (wet compact heavy snow and ice). I had no issue with the chute since I have installed the self fix kit from ego!
The snow blower worked perfectly 👌
I almost did all my driveway with one set of 7.5ah but I was a lot on turbo mode so I needed to use my extra set of 5ah to finish the job.

Finally, a good video to show what it can do. Any snowblower can do an untouched area but the packed in, wet, heavy snow is what I wanted to see. This is amazing to see what this can do.

Beast mode! Salute to the engineers and designers at EGO. I recently received my one stage with Steel auger. Got hit by a storm the next week. I tell you, this is my first snow it was like night and day. I was able to help my elderly neighbors in addition to my property. No gas to deal with and a small footprint for storage. Best of both worlds. Thanks you EGO.

In towns and cities, the snow plows create those darn snow burms at the driveways. The toughest snow to get through is there. Glad to see the usage in tough conditions. This video will do more to sell ECO snow blowers than the ones showing the petite female clearing a driveway with 3” of snow. I am still a Ariens gas powered guy as where I live, my 300’ driveway and all the paths around the house and barn need clearing in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan where snow is a way of life. The ECO looks good though, just needs more weight to get through the thick stuff. Impressed though.

Just looked at a new 2-stager at my local Ace. This one has 10a batteries (new this year?) I think this vid just convinced me to spend a little extra for the 2-stager. With the 10a batteries, this sucker is pushing $1500. An Ariens 26” Deluxe is $1300, but after literally a lifetime (I live in Northern Minnesota) of gas snowblowers, I think I’m ready for the switch to all batteries. I really like how an EGO battery works in all their implements, so now I can finally start switching over to all electric. The Toro mower will be the last gas machine I retire, tho, because that baby mows like nobody else’s business. Lolol.

Great video Ego Guy! I picked one up at the end of November 2020...used it maybe 5 times so far. Am extremely pleased with its performance. I have not had nearly the amount of snow to go thru as you have at this point.

One tip I may mention to others is to make sure the excess snow and ice slop is cleared away before running the snowblower/auger the next time. If you have a heated garage, it'll probably melt off, but mine is not heated. I make sure the auger is not frozen and spins freely before I start using it.

Overall, I think this is the best snowblower I have ever used. Especially the chute direction control and the height of the chute. Very well designed.

I would recommend their chain saw as well. And the leaf blower if you already have multiple batteries. Oh..and the self-propelled lawn mower too!
