Now that's what you call a test for the Ego 2-stage! Best demonstration for this snow thrower I've seen. Great vid. Thank you for taking the time to take and post the vid.

Great video pushing it to the extreme Vs blowing 1 inch of snow. I bought one in May 2022. Started using it here in Quebec this winter in November. Many reviews mention to run it on Eco Vs boost. It is the absolute truth for me. It runs a long time with two 7.5 amp batteries on the lowest setting. No problem doing a 4 car driveway and front of the street where family parks. The fact it is also self propelled is really great. The lightning as well with strong LEDs is grear. Sound in the videos always seem loud but I find it not as loud when I use it. I can’t wait for snow to fall to be honest. I rate it 10 out of 10. Used in combination with their electric shovel is super! I also bought for the summer one of their lawn mowers/string trimmer. They build their products so well they are a joy to use. Have a fantastic 2023!

Thanks for this impressive demonstration of the EGO SNT2405 snow blower . I am hoping and waiting for EGO to sell this model with two 10.0 Ah batteries like the new LM2350SP lawn mower that is coming out this year. My experience on blowing snow with my single stage EGO is that blowing downhill will save a lot of energy both for the machine as well as the operator.

Thank you very much for putting up this video. I'm looking at replacing my older gas powered snowblower. This is the type of snow I get out here, not the 2 inches in a lot of the other videos. As I'm getting older, this lighter EGO looks like it's easier to move around too....

Buying a smow blower in the middle of summer is the best deal!

I just bought one this week. I'm looking forward to using it!!! I already have the one-phase original snowblower (among many other Ego tools: lawnmower, multi-tool attachment, with almost all the available attachments, chain saw). It's an upgrade.

Very cool, I’m on board with the Ego interchangeable batteries. This would be a great way to add capacity to the ego zero turn I plan on getting in spring. I like the idea of little to no maintenance. Great review!

Very nice video. The fix from Ego to stabilize the blower chute seems to work very very welll and is an easy retrofit.

BTW _ the text was impossible for me to read - maybe use a more contrasty colour.

I have one. I love it. I just pop in two 7.5 amp batteries and go. I have four 5 amp batteries as backup. When the 7.5 amp batteries die i put them in my 2 rapid chargers. And they're ready if I need them again. When it comes to the heavy, packed plowed in snow, I just take my time and try not to push the machine too much and it just chomps away. It is expensive but nearly all my gardening tools run on ego so I feel like I'm getting a good return on my investment.

Hey It was a excellent video demonstration. The unit had to be help/pushed into the deep snow but worked well. The snow also appeared to be slightly heavy. I don’t get that deep or heavy of a snow so it would be a good choice. Yes batteries are expensive but problem is will people properly maintain the batteries. Some people or more purchase these battery operated machines but never properly maintain the batteries. I will look at other reviews, let’s see what next season brings.

This is exactly the test I was looking for years ago and couldn't find, also about the exact amount of snow I'd consider a typical large amount where I live. I have several Ego tools and was thinking about getting the blower but it looks to me like that's not a great place to go electric, at least not quite yet. Toro for me, for now.

A lot of wasted potential with the auger and drive turned up, I’ve been seeing about an hour runtime without killing batteries even once in lesser snow on low and eco settings, still throws plenty far and does everything I need with a nice smooth walk behind... auger is plenty powerful enough to tackle even large packed snow on lower speed modes

Wow..I'm impressed..thats a real snow fall there.

Wouldn't going from top down the slope be easier

Impressive video and thanks for shooting it wide so the actual shooting distance of the chute can be seen. I am hoping EGO will package the new 10.0Ah batteries with the new 700W fast charger (or maybe a newer dual charger) next year for purchase.

Great video demonstrating the power of the machine. Thanks!
Comment....after your first pass you may have found it quicker and easier to only fill half the auger.
And going downhill rather than uphill should help too.
Thanks again!
