Those were "the we have pokemon cards at home" sort of deal. My father owns neighborhood grocery store, and back in the early 2000s he used to carry these. I remember he was so excited to tell me that he got some pokemon cards in. I was pretty pumped until I saw these bad boys.

I don’t know anything about the worth of Pokemon cards but everytime this guy appears on my feed I watch all the way through. It’s hypnotizing somehow

Those packs are notorious for being weighed. The foils are much heavier than the regular cards.

The amount of these I opened as kid is staggering. Growing up Pokemon packs were my allowance for doing chores and I probably open three or four booster boxes worth of the first five sets each, the sticker packs and the episode packs.

I remember getting Topps Pokémon cards. It wasn’t what I wanted but my grandparents got them for me and it’s the thought that counts.

I have the fake ones in sticker form. Love it when they had the anime moments on it. Or the "who's that pokemon" thing and info sheet.

I wasn't rich so these 5c, 10c card stickers is all i could afford.
