I dont understand bits flowing between adaptors, arent data supposed to move from link layer to physical layer then -> phsyical layer to link layer, how and why are anything being communicated between the node A and B...in the link layer that is i suppose?

Aren't set of bits called frames yes then what's the difference between bite flowing through adaptor and frame between hosts???? aren't they the same thing
