China: Astronauts leave space station module for Earth after a 90-day stay in orbit

China's Shenzhou-12 crew left the Tianhe space station core module earlier on Thursday for a journey of returning to the Earth, after the spacecraft successfully undocked from the core module following a 90-day stay in space.

I wonder what happens to the front and rear portion of the undocking? The middle part will come back to earth but what about the rest? Does it redocks to the station? Or come down to earth dissintergrating in a fireball? Won't that be a waste though.
