Good content as usual, doing math while filming is not something a lot of YT creators like to do, well done.

I carry 50 meters of static line in a pin kit which is bulky but great for peace of mind. Getting the static line to/from a pinned boat is another story. I can visualize what should happen, what is your personal experience?

We did a lot of one boat multi-day trips this year and finally decided to put together a real pin kit/van recovery. Grabbed a 200' 1/2 line, steel biners, and a bomber anchor. What are y'all using for prusiks or capture devices on a 1/2" line.?

I liked seeing you hold up the salamander t-bag, they meet most of your criteria for a good throw bag, and are more readily available than the ones you have thrown positive light on lately. Clearly more than 75’ is going to be needed in most situations. The dilemma for private day trippers in small cats, shredders, and short play rafts is a full pin kit is pretty bulky.

I like the part where you redirect the pulling so it keeps you out of the trajectory of a breaking rope.  Keep up the videos, there are very informative.

we always carry 120 feet of static line. I use my short canyoneering rope when rafting. Its pulled several people off rocks at long angles like your showing

Zac for a cheap static line what about used climbing rope? You can get them at climbing gyms for nothing.

Your Pythagorean theory measurements were off a little. You measured your lengths to the bank and not the anchor, and the anchor to the shore is at an angle too, adding more length still. For example, your last calculation from the raft to shore was 65’, but your anchor was 10’ from shore, so your raft to anchor length is 85 feet. Credit to my son Jacob for noticing.
