This is years old so i wonder if i get any replies. Nice setup, really interesting, just wondering if it could be more efficient energy wise to run the LEDs directly from battery through a voltage step up? The LEDs are DC current as such and it seems sort of round about to take solar DC to AC back to DC. Any ideas, experience, etc you can share.

How many solar panels do you use? I have two 1000 watt led lights I'm looking to power the same way. I was thinking about getting a deep cycle battery not sure what size, then I know I'll need solar panels an inverter and a charge controller. Is there anyway you could shoot some of your knowledge my way or some videos I could watch to help me figure out the specifics on what I need? Thanks in advance.
