I love it every time you break down images of interiors to point out why they work. You could have a whole series of video just analyzing images like this, and I would eat it up!

I like your channel for two reasons.
1. I can’t stand another farmhouse decor video.
1. I am interested in the principals that make a home look warm, comfortable and put together, and you are
speaking and teaching in principals that I can apply as a very middle class American that is flexible and not stuck in any particular decor. I always look at a room and say “ why is this nice?” You are giving my good but undefined instincts more shape and substance. Your doing a really good job here.

I really love your videos. I appreciate that you take the time to add timestamps, don’t waste 5 minutes on an intro about nothing, have PRACTICAL tips and have clearly mapped out what you’re going to say so you’re concise and articulate. And I absolutely LOVE your style! I’m a mid century modern/industrial accents girl, so I really love your aesthetic too! So many designers on YouTube are very into boho and farmhouse and it’s just not for me. 💗

I like the 80/20 rule. As usual you have simplified things so the average person like me doesn't feel overwhelmed. I like that you're encouraging but not preachy, thank you.

Wow, I learned so much, this 80/20 rule is a game changer for me.

Throughout my home decorating life, I have always felt a bit guilty leaving out a beloved piece of furniture ( heirloom pieces) because it didn't fit the contemporary look of the time. No more. Time for a little trip to the attic! Thank you Nick.

Love it when you said, " If you think it's good, beautiful, then it's right!!" Thank you for the 80/20 guide, didn't know we can use it to decorate.

This is so helpful when living with others. I don’t want the home I share with my partner to feel like it only represents my personal style. I’m the one more interested in design and shopping for it but that doesn’t mean my partner doesn’t have his own preferences 🤗

I’d love to see/hear your take on vintage eclectic? On how to bring it together? I’ve seen some house tours but not really a guide as such.

Hey Nick! I'm not at all in the design industry, just a guy who got his first house and want to create an interior that make sens and your videos are the best I found yet! I think you reach a lot of people, from "not even amateur" (like me) to people who are designers professionally! I encourage you to keep doing videos on your channel! The contents is good, the visual is good and you have a really nice approach and open mind! Constructive critics: if possible, try to use only pictures with good resolution (refering to the picture where you show the traditional style in your "interior design styles" video).

Peace! ✌

The 80/20 makes sense. I lean toward transitional style where I use traditional with some modern elements.

This is the first time I am renting an empty flat, so I am binging your videos. What are the chances of finding a designer you like on your second video googling interior design? I just love how you present a good mixture of the basics and your personal opinion, current trends and practical advice for different budgets or spaces. So useful.

I love the mix of midcentury modern with like mild bohemian and rustic themes. It makes it more cozy and less sterile to me. It doesn’t sound like they’d go together but if you look it up, they can mix well.

Leaning and combining 2 design styles is a away to avoid a clinical streamline setting . We all hope and strive to create our unique spaces and mixing is the perfect way achieve that .
You are so right with the 20% part . It breaks the mold and sets the focus points of the room design . I never looked at it quite this way but seemingly that is how my hybrid blend comes out .
Excellent perspective and video .

Thank you. I don’t feel 100% at home with any single design style. I don’t want to live in a furniture showroom or design studio; I want my home to be warm and inviting, comfortable and practical. I’m willing to paint and buy some new pieces, but I have some other things worth keeping.
