Dads are irreplaceable. I lost mine when I was 9. I’m 32 now and I still pray and ask him what I should do. Him and the Lord. I miss him and have missed him every single day. I would have loved his advice and to drink a beer with him when I was old enough. Unfortunately I don’t feel I did him proud, but hard to say when I never really knew my father. Guess that’s why I’m so hard on myself all the time.

This is stuff my Father in law does for me. One morning I woke up and he was painting my shed. I was sick and couldn't go see my dieing grandpa. When he passed 24hrs later, my fil came over with a Popeyes chicken meal for me and a card. He's so thoughtful. Its different for me. My blood father i am estranged from. He never cared. Its nice to have a father finally that cares.
