Most of the time, I'm trying to get data into Obsidian. Today a fellow Obsidian user asked for help getting his data out of Obsidian. He had manually put the data in but was not happy with the layout; he wanted to convert the individual notes to *.csv so he could use tit with the JSON/CSV Importer plugin and re-make his notes with a better look and feel.

Great use case... hold my beer :)

Good Day Josh, I firstly want to thank you for guiding and teaching me how to use Obsidian for my D&D world. That being said, I accidentally found another AMAZING Obsidian benefit. I just built a new PC (My first build ever, thank you, thank you.) this morning I woke up and decided I should get to work on some world-building for game night tonight, and then it hit me. OH SHIT!!! I didn't set up an export of my world before I transferred all my old PC data. I panicked I started looking to see if by some miracle I managed to save ANY tiny shred of all my previous work, and then there it was. an entire folder I don't remember making. I opened it, and my heart soars when I see the first file in the folder .obsidian!!! I hurriedly download the Obsidian software, I point it in the direction of the newly discovered folder, and in a span of SECONDS, my ENTIRE WORLD is ready to go again!!! Thank you, Josh, Thank you devs of Obsidian.

seriously though feel free to use this little true story in a vid if you like. it truly is one of the many many many benefits of using this software and ALL digital DM's should know about it. Thank you.
