The rulings of the Congress hearing must not spare no one. The rule of law applies to everybody including high ranking officials like Digong Duterte and Bato whom everyone knows the mastermind, protector and grand designer of EKJ, POGO, illegal drugs, WPS issues, etc. Due courtesy is only applied to people who showed courtesy to the provisions of the Phillipine Constitution and showed respect to the rule of law, truth, justice and equality. Bato and Digong were given already the much needed courtesy. Their attendance to hearings in the House and Senate is paramount to due process and be held accountable and responsible if found out they violated the rule of law.

Just a suggestion please: This is to request Rep Dan Fernandez to stop or minimize using the "be" verb in his sentences and statements. It's annoying listening to his indirect sentences using the "be" present perfect tense. " I will be asking" instead of a plain " I will ask. " Sorry to say this, but public speaking demands that speakers must be aware of good and correct communication skill watchful of the correct usage of words in the English language as well as the correct pronunciation of the English words. The word "country" in the dictionary is pronounced as " kantree". Silent "o". It is disturbing to the ears if incorrect usage of words are articulated. As lawmakers they are expected to express themselves correctly in their talks and discussions during hearings. Communications to be clearly understood must be simple and concise not laborious and going around the bush.

Why not Subpoena? Why invitation? Time will be wasted on waiting for them to attend. They will have a lot of reasons and excuses because they are not obligated. I think the purpose is to investigate the suspects involved in wrongdoing. The committee suppose to have the powers and authority to investigate. The subjects of investigation are not immune. We are not disrespecting anyone but the law of the land has to be applied. A conduct of professionalism and exercising the law is good enough to respect everyone.
