Making a Colourful Summer Bear Paw QUILT! Tiny Pieces!
Показать описание
I made my own Bear Paw quilt after the visit from Chris English where he showed me his spectacular entry for The Festival of Quilts, but I chose to make mine really small and they were a bit too fiddly to be honest, so I stopped when I got to 25 blocks. In this video I'll show you how I sashed these blocks and made a small quilt that might be a picnic blanket if ever we get picnic weather!
Some of these fabrics are Heather Ross and some are Free Spirit, the solid green is Sour Apple from Kona. I love how colourful it looks! I won't be working with pieces that tiny for a long time though!
It really is the support from my lovely Patrons that allows me to keep this show on the road and I am very grateful to each one of you!
You can join them there for the price of a coffee or a craft magazine and watch the content back to the start of 2019! Look in the feature 'Collections' to find what you are looking for!
Anna has been having a lot of fun making us an official TLHH Pinterest account, which we have just launched! Here we will be posting pictures of all the different creative things I get up to at The Last Homely House - quilt projects, craft projects, garden projects - progress on my cabin... and much more! Follow us there to keep up to date with all of that.
Over on my website you will find much more! Here you can shop for some of the things I use in my craft room at The Last Homely House and sign up for the monthly newsletter.
The latest new thing in the shop - two lovely packs of greetings cards with images of quilting and EPP!
The music in this video was chosen from Epidemic Sound and is called Caught up in a Dream, Whenever you Call, Song for a New Beginning, After the Tempest and Song for the Moon.
If you enjoyed watching me make this- check out this playlist of other fabric creations!
There is always so much going on here and there are more behind the scenes over on Instagram - kateatthelasthomelyhouse.
Thank you so much for joining me here at The Last Homely House - I appreciate each and every one of you! Leave a comment or share with a friend! Passing a spiced apple cake down The Lime Green Sofa.
Take care,
Love
