The 28cm Mike the pike I have has an extra pin in the slide lock wich has to be removed before you can slide the body off. With this it is impossible for it to get loose.

Here in Sweden when Mike the pike first Came to the market it had a produktion faliure that made the body come of more easily. So people had it come of in the cast, and when it was reeled in! :) but Westin fixed the problem with the next batch of mike the pikes :)
