I'm glad i don't drink and never drank alcohol in my life.
I have no urge to drink alcohol.
I believe most people drink because they think that's what they're suppose to do as a part of being an adult.

My dad is a lifelong alcoholic and he has fatty liver disease, gout, high blood pressure, acid reflux(gurd), prediabetes, and most recently Wernicke’s syndrome. My mom is also and she has an enlarged heart, high blood pressure, and a ton of mental health issues. They’re both 58 and physically dependent on it.

The key word is “excessive “. The same is true concerning eating. Many people have serious health issues due to gluttony.🤓

Thanks Doc…. I was probably drinking at least 15 drinks a day (rum&coke). I have a racing heart, high blood pressure and ED. So I stopped drinking. Heart isn’t racing, blood pressure is better and I’m still waiting to what happens with ED thing ( it still gets hard but I don’t have staying power). Alcohol is not my problem, it’s sugar (rum and coke is super sweet) Now that I’ve stopped drinking, now it’s everything sweet. I’m giving myself 3 days to start breaking that habit. I’m so focused on my health, I know I’m going to succeed. I’ve been watching your podcasts for extra motivation 😘
