How to Make Hamburger Steaks

Hamburger steaks are a simple dinner that fills you up and keeps carbs low. I would eat something like this on a food as medicine diet, no problem.

A few adjustments:
For grain free/lower carb: Swap the bread crumbs for almond flour and use arrowroot starch instead of flour in the gravy.
For gluten free: Gluten free bread crumbs work fine here.

Easy Hamburger Steaks

INGREDIENTS
1 pound ground beef
1 egg
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
½ teaspoon fine sea salt
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon garlic powder
⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper
¼ cup bread crumbs freshly chopped bread or dry crumbs
1 tablespoon oil
1 cup white onion thinly sliced
For the gravy
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup beef broth
½ teaspoon sea salt
pepper optional
dash of red wine optional
