I miss traveling to Thailand. I cook this recipe frequently in my house and my family starts reminiscing our trip to Krabi when we have Gai Tod Hat Yai as breakfast & snack 😄

Thank you so much for the recipe. I made this a few times. I just want to say that this recipe is extremely delicious. The marinade is very flavourful (more of a savoury taste) and the crust is very crispy plus gluten free. I actually measured the oil temperature prior to dropping the chicken in but for the frying time, I had to fry them longer (10-12 mins total per batch). Prior to taking my chicken out, I used a meat thermometer to make sure that the internal temperature was at least 165 Fahrenheit. The first time I made this, I messed up because I didn't have a meat thermometer and the chicken didn't turn out very good because my oil was too hot; hence I burnt outside crust and had raw chicken on the inside. If anyone is making this, please use a meat thermometer, trust me, it makes a HUGE difference.
