My dad bought the cds of the trilogy when I was a wee boy. I can't seem to recall watching it back then. After having finished watching all three, I'm at peace. The Return Of The King is perhaps the most epic film I've seen in my life. Even 4hrs weren't enough for me. I wanted more!
I had tears all formed in line to roll down in the final scenes. Although I wish I had seen them years ago, I'm glad I saw it now. They'll stick with me forever. These aren't just movies, but a lot more. Thank goodness.

this trailer literally makes me tingle it is so good. The Hobbit trilogy did not even come CLOSE to matching the perfection of this trilogy. The emotional depth of the characters, the the casting, the animation (especially with Gollum), the story, the music, the cinematography...everything is absolutely perfect about this film. Even the multiple endings, because they gave closure to the story arcs and allowed the audience to say goodbye to the epic characters. I challenge you...name me one moment in the entire Hobbit trilogy that matches this trilogy. I guarantee it can't be done.

arwen is a joke in these movies. I can't stand how she was portrayed. they totally made her eclipse eowyn, which is so not the case in the books. and yes I know arwen's story is more detailed in the appendices blah blah blah but made her the one who tells Elrond to reforge narsil???? where can I throw
