It's not a matter of "how" Cartman manipulates everyone. It's a matter of "when" he manipulates everyone.

the fact that he’s the most evil in the series and ends up being an orthodox 🧃in the Post Covid episodes actually genius and makes total sense

I've always known that Cartman was a psychotic manipulator but after beating The Fractured But Whole I found he's more messed up than I thought possible. And I've already seen him kill his parents and episodes 200 and 201.

Dang, didn't even bring up Crackbaby Basketball. Cartman manipulating his friends, and using innocents who are without a doubt victims, going so far as to call them "slaves" for his financial benefit. Then, when Kyle actually tries to help them, Cartman manages to spin his idea of good intentions into the perfect loophole to get out of legal trouble, and continue his disgusting scheme of pitting innocent children born in horrible situations against each other for his benefit, all while he (and his associates by proxy) is portrayed as a hero. I believe the phrase he uses is "Moral Teflon." Literally describing this originally noble deed devised by Kyle as a plastic covering for what they're doing. He is FULLY aware what he is doing is morally reprehensible and still actively participates in it, and reaps as many hedonistic rewards as he possibly can. And it wasn't even moral superiority or righteous retribution that stopped him, it was someone who is just as corrupt, manipulative, and empty as him stealing the "business."

Eric is the perfect example of a good character. In no way a good _person, _ but a good character.

I've always said that Eric Cartman is the most irredeemable character in all of modern fiction. Most good villains in media need SOME kind of redeeming quality for the audience to really understand them. Their moral codes may be twisted, bizarre, or absent, but there's always some tiny kernel of something that a person can understand, even if it's loathsome.

But since Cartman isn't really an antagonist in the traditional sense, he doesn't need to follow those rules. He's meant to be a sick joke on the part of the writers, and they accidentally ended up creating the most foul, hateful person I've ever seen on the screen or page.

Cartman and Butters carries the franchise. The other homies are there for Cartman’s diabolical entertainment.

If they do a final episode it’s definitely gonna be everything cartman has ever done coming back to bite him and turning him into a pudgy red stain in the center of town

I remember watching the casso bonita episode as a kid, and genuinly being angry that cartman exists at the end of the episode. And i think that's what makes South Park great. They are so good at making you hate cartmanbut the show remains hilarious, and some of the funniest moments are also some of the most morally questionable moments in the show.

Hmmm South Park sticks to the original script, the most controversial figure and liked for being well how he is. Someone how he is not viewed highly he is able to do his best work. Hey Ali knew this, and now he will show how it really was

Is there a fan of South Park who doesn't love Eric Cartman? What would South Park be without his character?
