Solve ubuntu error - dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'sudo dpkg --configure -a'

how to solve this error :

E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'sudo dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem.

just run :
sudo dpkg --configure -a

on your terminal.. After that, you can apt-get install again.

I slowed your video down and copied the commands step by step and paused the video after each step and made the mistake of entering the full command " sudo apt install postfix devecot devecot common devecot imapd devecot - pop3d". I wish I had let the video play for a few more seconds and saw that you decided to delete most of it. Now it seems like it is listing every single byte of data. Will it ever stop? How can I interrupt it and redo it correctly?
