FYI Jays Problems were related to the 7950X3D specifially, not in regard to any other X3D chips, LTT talked about similar problems so this seems specific to this exact chip, not the lineup.

Well, all of Jay’s two sense problems were with Ryzen, 7000 series and purely because there was one cc X with 3Dvcash and one CCX without 3Dvcash and the software that AMD uses senses games with Xbox game bar they park the the non-3-D cores but that system is faulty but if the CPU only has one CCX and it is 3DV cash (like the 5500 X 3-D, and the 5700 X 3-D) then the CPUs work amazingly

Mentioning the jayztwocents video is very misleading. He was running a 7950X3D which has a host of issues because of the dual CCD setup, and AM5 generally seems to have a finnicky memory controller at the moment. Any AM4 X3D CPU is only going to have a single CCD with the 3D vcache on it, and the 5800X3D is known for performing well even with potato memory. None of that video really applies here, and he even says in the video he probably should have gone with a 7950X for his usecase anyway, and also recommended going with any single CCD X3D processor
