I setup a proxmox server and did GPU passthrough to a VM with pop!_OS.
Workes flawlesly.

*Note* I used a Tesla GPU with no DP/HDMI ports. Its just used for computations. But it worked pretty much out of the box.
Installing drivers is also hassle free.

Last week I tried Fedora 41 KDE again, and I got Rocket League on Steam running with Nvidia drivers in about an hour. But there were many issues, like having significantly less fps than on windows (struggling to hit 300 while on windows I am locked to 360), and big stutters and even lower framerates when the new steam video capture was enabled. Seeing this I instantly switched back, because if the first game i tried has issues, i dont even wanna know about the rest. Sad :(
