I appreciate Carl and Laura’s vulnerability to lean into the hard conversations. I think this serves a cautionary tale for a lot of people on what to avoid and how to get up if you do fall. Glad they did the work.

Rooting for Carl and Laura! Your mistake does not have to define your entire life. God is faithful and he can restore anyone who repents. I believe he is sincere and I pray the best for them 🙏🏾🙌🏾

I was a server in Montclair, NJ and I had a table, a father and son. I took their order and shortly after the son passed out, completely unconscious on the floor, and Carl Lentz was at the table across from him, Laura as well. When I say that man got into instant dad mode, I meannnn. He tried to wake the boy and then told someone to get some orange juice which he gave to the boy, Once he was conscious. The father of the boy was incomplete shock unable to move. But I remember thinking damn Carl Lentz is a good guy.

Charlemagne and Envy did this interview very well. Very professional. Carl Lentz and Family’s Testimony is a true testament of God’s grace, mercy and restoration power.

Everyone goes through it. It’s how you learn and heal from it. May God heal him and his family.

I feel like this guy is not trying to get sympathy but is really doing the work to take ownership, it's inspiring there are so many points in the conversation where he could play a victim but he always goes back to the point that it was his mistake, everyone makes them but it can be a lonely place to own Someone will see this and be inspired by his courage and that's how you make the world better IMO

I had the opportunity to sit under Pastor Lentz preaching a few times before the “fall”. And even in the midst of his downward spiral before he was revealed, I felt his intensity, his passion and his sincerity when he spoke of God’s love, grace and mercy. It was like through his preaching he was crying out to God like King David even though we, the public, had no idea about his private life. I see you Pastor Lentz and I would sit under your pastorship again because even though you were in sin, your message was still Truth. And now that you’re living in honesty, your transparency is giving the rest of us hope as you live out your restoration story for all to see. To God be the glory and God’s blessings to you, Mrs. Laura and your family 🙌🏼

I was a part of hillsong nyc/nj for 7 years. Served. Led. Participated in so much. And this is the first time I hear him apologize like this. And it means a lot.

I’ve been watching their podcast and I commend their openness vulnerability and honesty.

As a Christian, that was very critical of Carl, this was wholesome and it shows how God will humble us because he doesn't just care about the people we preach to but our spiritual well-being too... if we are going down the wrong path he loves us enough to allow it to blow up in our face so our souls are saved, this was God's love, he could have died in the adulterous state, but for the sake of his ministry he did not allow that to be his end story, its a testimony of his true salvation. i believe once truly saved you God will make sure you are not lost, however that may go

Man, Carl's sermons changed my life. Grace and peace upon the Lentz family. Hope he can eventually in the future get back up and share the word.

Thank you for introducing me to this couple. I'm struggling right now with the same thing in my marriage and I have really found strength in their story.

Excellent interview. This is such a beautiful story of grace and redemption. Carl, you have done the work. I notice watching you that you put your head down a lot. You've been redeemed. You've been forgiven. Yes, you messed up big time but yes, you've worked your butt off to heal. Hold your head high. It's ok to be proud of where you are now! Laura, I've been through it too. You're grace and strength make you even more beautiful than you already are! Blessings to your family! Thank you for your honesty and openness. We need your story in today's world! Thank you
